March 2020 Local Planning Update
Below is a roundup of some of the local planning applications:
Erection of up to 73 holiday homes at Cotswolds Hotel And Spa, Southcombe, Chipping Norton
This is an expansion of an existing development by the golf course on the outskirts of Chipping Norton. ENCON Directors will review the planning application at our next board meeting on Sunday 15th March. Please do let us know if you have any comments before then.
The Enstone Parish Council are holding a “Have your say” meeting at Enstone Parish Hall at 6.30pm on 19th March 2020 in the Parish Hall. Details of the planning application can be found here.
The Mullin Automotive Museum, Enstone Airfield
Since the WODC Development Control Committee approved this application in June 2019, there has been no news. ENCON is periodically in touch with the team from the Mullin and will update members as and when there are new developments.
Tank Farm, East Chipping Norton
WODC are starting work on the planning application for over 1,000 homes at Tank Farm in East Chipping Norton. The land is owned by Oxford County Council. The timetable is for draft documentation to be published in April and for consultation to start in September 2020. While this is outside the catchment area of the Enstone Conservation Trust, we wanted to update members on progress as it will be a very significant further development of Chippy.
Best wishes
The ENCON Directors
